TALLAHASSEE – Making its debut to the Sunshine State Games slate this weekend will be 2019 SSG Soccer Championships and Florida State Invitational on March 30-31 in Tallahassee.  The two-day tournament partners with the Florida Elite Soccer Academy to host the Florida State Invitational being held at the FSU Rec SportsPlex.

The Florida State Invitational, which is sanctioned by Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA), is open to all US Soccer members (US Club Soccer, AYSO, USSSA) and will field approximately 175 teams during the two-day tournament.

The SSG championships field three different divisions based on competitiveness and level of play. Gold, silver and bronze divisions will be offered in each age group with up to eight teams per division. Each team is guaranteed to play three games, two games on Saturday and one game on Sunday, with the championship matches being contested Sunday afternoon.

The 22-field complex will see six fields hosting 9v9 competitions while 10 pitches will entertain 11v11 matches.  The remaining six fields will carry 7v7 competitions. A complete map layout of all 22 fields can be accessed here.
