7:00 to 8:30 am – Weigh-in/Equipment check for all Women
7:00 to 8:30 am – Weigh-in/Equipment check for all Men
8:00 to 9:00 am – Rules briefing and/lifter warm-up
9:00 to 2:00 pm – Commencement of lifting
2:00 to 2:30 pm – Awards Ceremony
Please Note: This is a drug-tested event.

Entry Fee

$100.00 – Push Pull (Combined Bench Press and Deadlift for Total)
$85.00 – Bench Press Only Competition
$85.00 – Deadlift Only Competition
$35.00 – Each additional division
$100.00 – Team Entry Fee
$50.00 – Late Fee if competition entry form is after August 1, 2021
Registration deadline – Saturday, August, 2021
If your application/entry form is going to be late, you must notify the meet director either by email or telephone for confirmation to lift in the championship. The late fee will apply, regardless of the reason for the entry form is late. The late fee shall apply to everyone. There are NO refunds for any reason. Upon receipt of your entry form, all transactions are deemed final.

Eligibility Requirements
This is an open championship. There are no qualifying totals and/or competitions required to enter this championship. All lifters competing in the championship must be a member of USA Powerlifting. Membership cards will be available for purchase at registration prior to the start of the weigh-ins. Memberships to USA Powerlifting can now be purchased online here: www.usapowerlifting.com

Awards
The awards will be presented to all 1st – 5th place finishers, for each weight class and division. The Champion of Champion awards will be presented to the best overall male and female lifters for Bench Press Only, Deadlift Only, and Push/Pull competitions. The overall best lifters will be determined by the IPF GL formula. The awards will be presented to the 1st – 5th place teams.

Qualification for 2022 State Games of America
Sunshine State Games athletes are eligible to compete in the 2022 State Games of America, to be held in Ames-Des Moines, Iowa, July 27-31, 2022

2019 Sunshine State Games participants (after July 1): All gold, silver and bronze medalists qualify from National Congress of State Games (NCSG) Member State programs

2020: All athletes who participated in an NCSG Member State event, including the Sunshine State Games, qualify.

2021: All gold, silver, and bronze medalists qualify from NCSG Member State programs, including the Sunshine State Games.

2022 (before July 1): All gold, silver, and bronze medalists qualify from NCSG Member State programs, including the Sunshine State Games.

Any medalists from the 2019 State Games of America are eligible to compete in 2022 if they participate in a NCSG event in their state between July 1, 2019 – July 1, 2022. Note: Any athlete who has qualified in any event within a particular sport will be eligible to participate in all applicable events within said sport. i.e. A Track & Field athlete who only qualifies in one event in Track & Field, would be eligible to enter as many events within Track & Field at SGA 2022 as they like, or are allowed by the sport.
