The Sunshine State Games have four opportunities to participate and get involved in the near future. The Games will host its first-ever virtual event on Zoom, featuring Baton Twirling and Auxiliary competitions July 18-19. Joining Baton Twirling on the 18th of July will be the Canoe/Kayak Marathon competition at Fort Hamer in Parrish, Fla.
Heading into August, the cities of Gainesville and Newberry will host the Archery Championships on the 8th and 9th. The two-day competition is set to take place at the Easton-Newberry Archery Center and Gator Bowman Archery Range.
Pickleball is back on the 2020 SSG calendar as athletes will battle on October 3-4 at Pear Park in Leesburg.
